Ida Township Volunteer Fire Department
FIRE CHIEF:
Kirt Horn is the current Chief of the Ida Township Volunteer Fire Department. Chief Horn is the seventh fire chief serving since 1938, assuming the position July 1, 2016. Chief Horn joined the Ida Fire Department in 1995. Kirt's father, Earl Horn, served on the Ida Fire Department from 1973-1986. Kirt is a United States Army veteran.

ASSISTANT CHIEF:
Ron Eby is the current Assistant Chief for the Ida Township Volunteer Fire Department. Assistant Chief Eby assumed the position July 1, 2016. Assistant Chief Eby joined the Ida Fire Department December 2005 and is a United States Marine Corps veteran.

FIREFIGHTERS:
The Ida Township Volunteer Fire Department consists of both paid-on-call and part-time firefighters.
The station is staffed by part-time firefighters Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with the exception of holidays.
